Our philosophy is that the best ingredients produce the best results. We try to use as much local produce as we can, and we put a lot of love and care into what we do. We have a fixed menu of NYC style bagels, toasted sandwiches, breakfast items and staples such as toast and teacakes.
We change our soups and baked goods on a daily basis depending on what's in our store cupboard, what tempts us when we are shopping, or perhaps we're inspired by something we taste or see. We often have a gluten free option- please ask. We always have gluten free cake on offer and people often marvel that it is gluten free as it tastes so good! Coffeesmith is also fully licensed. We sell wine by the bottle, and often have a selection of beers. We do regular pop-up wine nights and seasonal dinners too.
Our wonderful sourdough bread at Coffeesmith, TCK and The Rookery, comes from Max Abbott at Sourdough Revolution in Lechlade, and is also available to buy and take home.
The Rookery really embraces veggie-centric healthy options with items such as smoothies, homemade houmous, veggie wraps and eggs on the menu along with some amazing vegan and gluten free cakes.
The Mousetrap Inn has an ever changing menu of seasonal specials, British tapas, and brunches available too. Although we embrace pub-grub classics like the ever popular burger, we also offer fantastic coffee and brunch items such as smashed avocado on toast.
The Smith will be serving up amazing cakes baked locally by Ginger Bakers in Staveley- the carrot & ginger cake is our particular favourite! Our bread is baked by Aidan and the gang at Lovingly Artisan, also in Staveley.
