Change of Season
Well, as you might be able to tell from the lack of posts over the summer months, it has been pretty busy here! The Cogges Kitchen opened in March and has been extremely busy over the summer months. The farm is going from strength to strength with Downton Abbey tourists, the new pigs and we look forward to the new season's events, culminating in the ever popular Christmas Market.
To 'celebrate' the schools going back, we now offer a bargainous £1 coffee Monday to Fridays from 9-10am so do come down and see us. Seasonality is something that we embrace, and now we are harvesting Cogges apples and picking blackberries from the hedgerows, so we've currently got some lovely home-baked apple & blackberry loaf cakes on the menu as well as ever changing daily specials.
Coffeesmith has had a spruce up, with interior paintwork freshened up with new Farrow & Ball paint & some brilliant Sandberg 'New York Stories' wallpaper from our friends at Relics in Witney. More changes are coming at Coffeesmith too, and you might have noticed that our cook Lisa has moved from Cogges to the Smith and she will be updating our menus over the coming weeks. There will also be some renovations too, to make the space we have more productive, fit some more seating in, and to lower the counter, making it more accessible.
